23.11.2009 - For the record books: Ludger Beerbaum wins his fourth Grand Prix in Stuttgart

Stuttgart – It has never happened before in the history of the STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS. Riding in front of a 6,500 crowd in the Hanns Martin Schleyer Halle the German Ludger Beerbaum won the Grand Prix of Stuttgart – presented by Mercedes Benz and the BW-Bank for an unprecedented fourth time on the final day of the 25th horse show. His other wins in the event’s final class came in 1994, 2000 and 2002. The 20 ROLEX FEI World Cup JumpingTM points that went with the success also moved him up to fourth in the rankings after five events.  mehr

22.11.2009 - Austrian pair vault to their way to the Prize of the Masterhorse GmbH

Stuttgart – After two years “in exile” in the Porsche Arena, the vaulters were back centre stage in the Hanns Martin Schleyer Halle at the 25th International STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS Horse Show. The pairs competition for the Prize of the Masterhorse GmbH was a two round affair and the final score was arrived at by adding both marks together and then dividing by two.  mehr

22.11.2009 - Bechtolsheimer Dressage GERMAN MASTER in the Grand Prix Special for the Prize of the Meggle Group

Stuttgart – “Mistral Hojris was fantastic today,” said a delighted Laura Bechtolsheimer after her win in the Grand Prix Special for the Prize of the Meggle Group in the Hanns Martin Schleyer Halle. After being the 12th and last to go, the 24-year-old Englishwoman and the 14-year-old chestnut gelding’s “wonderful performance” (horse show director, Gotthilf Riexinger) earned them 76.542 per cent. Born in Germany, Laura Bechtholsheimer emigrated with her parents to Great Britain at the age of 1 and she has been a British citizen ever since.  mehr

22.11.2009 - Otto Lörke Prize for “Dablino” and Anabel Balkenhol

Stuttgart – In memory of the outstanding rider and trainer, Otto Lörke, the Deutsche Olympiade-Komitee für Reiterei (DOKR – the German Olympic Committee for Equestrianism) awards the Otto Lörke Prize annually to the rider, trainer and owner of the dressage horse, which may be no older than 10 years, that has impressed the dressage committee the most at the Grand Prix classes in Germany. The 25th International STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS Horse Show will provide the backdrop for the 25th awarding of the honour.  mehr

Stuttgart – Standing ovation in the Hanns Martin Schleyer Halle in Stuttgart. Seven thousand enthralled and enraptured spectators, gasps of amazement and cheering after the final salute – Edward Gal and his 9-year-old black stallion Totilas provided a highlight at the 25 International STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS Horse Show in Saturday evening’s prime time session. Competing in the Grand Prix freestyle, the double European champion from Windsor won the freestyle with such apparent ease that it almost seemed to be casual.  mehr

21.11.2009 - Australia’s World Cup winner Boyd Exell shines in SCHENKER GERMAN MASTER

Stuttgart – Year three after the serial winner Michael Freund and the third different winner. Two fantastic laps of the course in the Hanns Martin Schleyer Halle on Saturday afternoon gave Boyd Exell the win in the SCHENKER GERMAN MASTER. Last year’s World Cup winner clocked 213.88 and the success earned him 6,500 euro in prize money. Having already finished first in Hanover at the end of October, it meant that the 37-yer-old has now won both rounds of the FEI World Cup DrivingTM 2009/2010. “I’ve been second a couple of times here.  mehr

Stuttgart – Successful start in the Special Tour at the 25th International STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS Horse Show in the Hanns Martin Schleyer Halle: Englishwoman Laura Bechtholsheimer, who was born in Mainz, Germany, comfortably won the Grand Prix for the Prize of the Stihl AG on the 14-year-old gelding Mistral Hojris.  mehr
