The winner of the final of the BW-Bank Indoor Championship goes by the name of Jonathan Gordon. Riding at the 30th International STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS Horse Show in front of 7,500 spectators in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle on Thursday evening, the 20-year old Irishman, who competes for the local RV Altheim club, relegated the 2006 winner Alexander Schill into second place. A mistake last year in the jump-off cost him the win but “this year I wanted to be the No. 1.” Stefan Schütz, spokesman of the BW-Bank, was thrilled: “Congratulations to Jonathan Gordon! It was a joy to watch him.” From the BW-Bank’s point of view, the Indoor Championship is an important cornerstone of the horse show. “It’s wonderful seeing how full the stands are. We’re looking forward to again being a part of the event next year,” said Schütz.
