Multiple winner Isabell Werth secures Grand Prix for the Prize of Abelein Event Service

Stuttgart – Riding at the 32nd International STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS Horse Show in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle, multiple winner Isabell Werth (Germany) once again lived up to her status as favourite to leave the strong field trailing in her wake. Atop her Olympic horse Weihegold, she amassed 82.8 points.

“Weihegold performed brilliantly with lots of highlights, especially in the passage piaffe tour,” said the multiple world and European champion when praising her mare, “I’m so happy with the way everything went.” The win has qualified her for Saturday afternoon’s FEI World Cup – the Grand Prix Freestyle.

Kristina Bröring-Sprehe, like the winner, a member of Germany’s gold medal winning team in Rio, took second place on her stallion Desperados FRH (78.30 points). The Briton Spencer Wilton on Super Nova II placed third in the strong international field with 76.50 points.
