(mps) Baden-Württemberg against the “rest of the world”, was the motto in the Preis der Firma XXL Sicherheit, the knock-out class at the 23rd international STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS show on Saturday afternoon. And this motto was still valid in the semi-final. With Tim Rieskamp-Gödeking (Maichingen) and Jürgen Kurz (Leingarten), two regional riders also qualified for the last but one round as the two foreign top riders Julien Epaillard (France) and Denis Lynch (Irland).
However, in the final of the Preis der Firma XXL Sicherheit, the “rest of the world” rode against each other. Finally, the 20-year old Frenchman and Commissario, the nine-year old stallion from Holstein, won the class and received the prize-money of 2.000 Euro. The Irishman still got 1.600 Euro, who ended up on the second position with Schneesturm, the 13-year old Trakehner stallion. Tim Rieskamp-Gödeking, who rode Mini-Mi and lost against Epaillard in the semi-final, could be happy about a third place and 1.000 Euro as well as Jürgen Kurz and Aisha, who were beaten by Denis Lynch.
