Stuttgart – The 27th International STUTTART GERMAN MASTERS has once again set the benchmark with world class equestrian performances, fascinating shows, a magnificent atmosphere and perfect organisation. Andreas Kroll, CEO of the in.Stuttgart Veranstaltungsgesellschaft mbH, was delighted with the way everything has gone at the horse show: “It was simply fantastic with lots of highlights and great equestrian sport.” The world class really were world class.” The spectators cheered on the riders and their horses, the emotional highlight was on Saturday at the farewell ceremony for Isabell Werth’s Satchmo – with a standing ovation. A total of 60,700 people visited the horse show. Kroll: “We’ve therefore achieved our objectives and we’ve once again broken the 60,000 barrier.” Andreas Kroll is very positive about the future: “In 2012, we’ll be the only horse show worldwide with three World Cup competitions – in jumping, driving and in dressage.”
The main sponsors were also delighted with this year’s STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS. Manfred Rube, the spokesman of the BW Bank: “It was an outstanding horse show and the Thursday is dear to our hearts, especially because of the riders from Baden Württemberg.” He is optimistic as far as the future is concerned and is convinced that the BW Bank, which is the horse show’s oldest sponsor, will continue to support the event. Hans-Michael Huber was highly impressed by Isabell Werth’s, Mercedes’ new brand ambassador, brilliant performance on Sunday morning. Speaking about the future of the horse show, Huber said, “We’re delighted to have signed a three-year contract until 2013. It gives planning certainly.” WALTER konzept celebrated their premiere as main sponsors. “The horse show provides us with the perfect platform,” said Wolfgang Walter and is confident that “we’ll also be involved in the next few years.”
As for Horse Show Director Gotthilf Riexinger, he felt Stuttgart, “had once again presented equestrianism of the highest class and that there were many wonderful emotional moments.” There was also praise for the whole organising team headed by the project leader Manfred Parlow from the in.Stuttgart Veranstaltungs-gesellschaft. “Everything fits together.” He also felt the sound and light effects were excellent this year. “It was simply outstanding.”
