Stuttgart – Hans-Peter Dreher has a good chance of being in the line-up for the MERCEDES GERMAN MASTER on Friday evening. The German won the Prize of WALTER solar at the 28th International STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS Horse Show late on Thursday 15 November. A speed jumping class, it was the first of two qualifying competitions for the MERCEDES GERMAN MASTER.
Second to go in a field of 48, Rodrigo Pessoa and HH Let’s Fly, a 13-year-old Hanoverian gelding, led (66.47 seconds) for a long time before “Hansi” Dreher on his ten-year-old gelding Constantin beat the Brazilian’s time by over a second (65.38). Third was Irishman Shane Breen, who took the opening class on the international tour earlier in the afternoon, and the nine-year-old stallion Cos I Can.
The second qualifying class for the MERCEDES GERMAN MASTER is on Friday, 16 November 2012 at 5.45 pm when the riders compete for the Prize of the DIW Instandhaltung Ltd. & Co. KG. Only the twelve best riders from both competitions will then contest the MERCEDES GERMAN MASTER which starts later in the evening at 10.00 pm.
