(mps) She was already successful when riding Warum Nicht FRH to victory in the freestyle series Grand Prix on Friday, and then on Saturday morning the five-time Olympic, six-time World and 13-time European Champion Isabell Werth triumphed on her 14-year-old gelding Satchmo in the Grand Prix for the Prize of the Stihl Group. The duo were awarded 77.375 per cent by the judges and the win underlined their title ambitions for coming Sunday’s Prize of the MEGGLE Group, the GERMAN MASTER.
The 39-year-old German once again came out on top at the 24th International STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS Horse Show and in doing so secured prize money to the tune of 2,500 euro. Behind her in second and third were Nadine Capellmann (Germany), who also saddled her top horse, the 12-year-old gelding Elvis VA, and Laura Bechtolsheimer from Great Britain on Mistral Hoiris. They were awarded 73.458 and 72.083 per cent respectively.
