Stuttgart – Successful start in the Special Tour at the 25th International STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS Horse Show in the Hanns Martin Schleyer Halle: Englishwoman Laura Bechtholsheimer, who was born in Mainz, Germany, comfortably won the Grand Prix for the Prize of the Stihl AG on the 14-year-old gelding Mistral Hojris.
The international jury, made up judges from Italy, Japan, Sweden and Germany, awarded the pairing 77.191 per cent. The reward for first place was a purse of 2,500 euro. Just behind her in second was the multiple team Olympic and World Champion Monica Theodorescu (Germany). Her ride on the Baden Württemberg bred Whisper, an 11-year-old gelding, earned her 71.957 per cent and 2,000 euro in prize money. Third was Christoph Koschel (Germany) on the 10-year-old gelding Donnperignon (71.319 per cent). His prize: 1,500 euro.
