Atop his nine-year-old Dutch-bred mare Lana del Rey, he absolved the 470-metre course with 11 fences and 13 jumps faultlessly in a time of 63.43 seconds. The 35-year-old finished almost a second up on Germany’s Pia Reich in the saddle on her ten-year-old mare PB Corrada, (0/64.53). Third place went to the Dane Carolin Rehoff Pedersen (24), who also works as a model. After posting the 160th clear round in the 123-year history of the German Jumping Derby in Hamburg, she surprisingly placed second behind Marvin Jüngel (Germany) after a jump-off in 2023. Back in fourth in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle was last year’s winner Tim Hoster (Germany) who rode the now 11-year-old Holstein stallion Cirro (0/66.69).
