Felix Haßmann ahead of Max Kühner and Gerrit Nieberg

Stuttgart – The 33-year old Felix Haßmann (Germany) claimed the opening jumping class for the Prize of the Bardusch GmbH & Co. KG Textil-Mietdienste on the second day of the 35th International STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS Horse Show in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle. The sixth to go atop his gelding SL Brazonado, the reigning German champion was a comfortable winner when dashing around the course clear in a time of 56.09 seconds – a time that none of the other riders came anywhere near to beating.

Over 4.5 seconds back in second was Munich-born Max Kühner, who rides for Austria, in the saddle on Vancouver Dreams, a 9-years young Hanoverian mare (0/60.66). Riding the eight-year old Westphalian gelding Ben, Germany’s Gerrit Nieberg also went clear when finishing third in a time of 61.16 seconds. The 26-year old recently came fifth – and the best German – on a borrowed horse at the World Cup China League final in Beijing. Though posting the fastest time in the class, a dislodged pole prevented a victory.
