Isabell Werth wins Dressage Grand Prix - Freestyle Tour

Stuttgart – The world’s most successful rider, Isabell Werth (Germany) left the two Danes Nanna Skodberg Merrald und Andreas Helgstrand trailing in her wake in the Dressage Grand Prix for Prize of Abelein Event Service at the 37th International STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS Horse Show in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle.


In the saddle on her 17-year-old Westphalian gelding Emilio, the multiple Olympic, world and European champion won the qualification for the World Cup freestyle on Saturday (5.00 pm) after being awarded 76.109 percent by the international jury.

Saddled up on Blue Horse Don Olymbrio, a 15-year-old KWPN stallion, the Danish world No. 3 Nanna Skodberg Merrald was given 75.587 percent. Her Germany-based countryman Andreas Helgstrand, currently world ranked No. 11, and his nine-year-old mare Queenparks Wendy posted a score of 73.130 percent.
