The in.Stuttgart Veranstaltungsgesellschaft organisers are offering this year’s equestrian fans an enthralling jubilee programme containing special highlights. The big “birthday party” on the opening evening on Wednesday, 11 November 2026 commences with the Costume Jump & Drive. Six groups from all over the state of Baden-Württemberg will present a display involving a spectacular choreography that includes music, action and suspense. “Their” respective crack rider will, after negotiating a jumping course, take on a slalom in a jeep – speed, speed, speed all the way.
Highly interesting themes will be presented. There is American football with cheerleaders from the nearby town of Winnenden and the rider, Sebastian Heller, a “The King returns – King of Pop” performance by the crew from close-by Rangendingen with Anika Grundstein in the saddle, “James Bond 007” and his fans will travel from Bisingen-Hohenzollern whereby Karena Flaig will be in the saddle. “Cowboys and Indians” with Jörg Widmaier atop his horse “Kartoffelbrei” will make the journey from Ebhausen. “Mario Kart” will, guided by Lea Sophie Boss and “Comme il Carla”, make their way from Baltmannsweiler to Stuttgart. The group from Trochtelfingen featuring Laura Bräuninger and “Carry On GB” will portray the scene titled “Der Morgen nach der Schleifennacht” (The Morning after the Soap Battle”).
A dressage demonstration of the highest class awaits the spectators when Isabell Werth takes to the arena. The world’s most successful rider – highly decorated with medals at championships ever since the 1992 Europeans in Donaueschingen, Germany – is famed for her skills schooling young horses and nurturing them to becoming world class. The horse show ambassador’s presentation on the opening evening will be a treat for everybody in the audience.
A quite special driving quadrille with an “old style” five-in-hand team will be performed afterwards by four artists on the reins in a daring and breathtaking choreography titled “Go West – High Noon”. The local driver Michael Brauchle, the two Swiss Daniel Würgler and Markus Luder plus Jiri Nesvacil from the Czech national stables in Kladruby will be aiming to thrill the crowd.
The 36-year-old Michael Brauchle was, aged 18, the sport’s shooting star and won his first ever medal – World Championship team silver with the German equipe – in Beesd, The Netherlands. In the following years, he amassed a total of 17 medals at various championships, including gold at the 2015 and 2019 European Championships in Aachen and Donaueschingen respectively. He is a five-time German champion.
The inaugural so-called “Südgipfel” (literally - Southern Summit Meeting) going by the title of the “iWEST® Top 12 Masters” will see Baden-Württemberg do battle with Bavaria on Sunday, 15 November 2026 at 12.15 pm. Taking part will be the top six placed riders in the BW-Bank Indoor Championship on Thursday (12 November 2026) and the iWEST® Bavaria Championship respectively.
A central theme running through all five days of the horse show is the “Legends in Action” display – presented by BW-Bank. The crowd can look forward daily to the performance by famous surprise guests that were successful in equestrianism in the past four decades.
