Anabel Balkenhol wins dressage Grand Prix for the Prize of the Liselott and Klaus Rheinberger Stiftung

Stuttgart – Riding at the 39th International STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS Horse Show on Saturday morning, the 2012 London Olympic Games participant Anabel Balkenhol claimed the win in the dressage Grand Prix for the Prize of the Liselott und Klaus Rheinberger Stiftung. In the saddle on the Hanoverian gelding High Five FRH, the 53-year-old German was awarded 72.391 per cent to leave her at the top of the 12-rider standings. The class was the qualifier for the Grand Prix Special for the Prize of Stihl and the coveted title of “DRESSAGE GERMAN MASTER” on Sunday (9.30 hrs).

Local hero Carina Harnisch and her chestnut gelding DSP Sheldon Cooper that she schooled herself finished second after being given 71.435 per cent. Last December the 41-year-old won the renowned young horses Grand Prix for the Louisdor Prize. It earned her the ticket from dressage national trainer Monica Theodorescu to compete in the classical tour in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle, where she was successful both in the warm-up and in the final of the iWEST Dressage Cup in 2024.

Moritz Treffinger rode the Oldenburg stallion Fiderdance to third place after scoring 71.218 per cent.
