Ann-Kathrin Lindner repeats win in the iWEST-Cup final

Stuttgart – Successful title defence – Ann-Kathrin Lindner has repeated her win in the final of the iWEST-Dressage-Cup for riders from the state of Baden-Württemberg. Riding her Oldenburg mare Dulcia on Thursday afternoon in front of 2,500 spectators in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle, the 23-jährige physiotherapist was a clear winner with 73.800 per cent. She relegated the leader after the four qualifying classes Vera Breidenbach and her Trakehner gelding Titan (72.350) to second. Third was Anna Casper on Birkhof’s Don Diamond FBW (71.650).

“Dulcia is in such fantastic form, is very motivated and it’s a whole lot of fun riding her – and to think my parents wanted to retire her to stud,” commented the delighted winner. 2019 is the young German’s year as she was called up into the national squad and won the gold medal with the German team at the U-25 European Championships in San Giovanni near Rimini, Italy in July.

Stefanie Kramer, Member of the Marketing Department of the series sponsor iWEST, was visibly very pleased with the class and announced the continuation of the iWEST Dressage Cup in 2020. “We want to give young riders the chance to ride at a top level and help them develop.”
