Jur Vrieling claims the Prize of the EASY TICKET SERVICE and qualifies for the MERCEDES GERMAN MASTER

Stuttgart – Competing at the 33rd International STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS Horse Show on Friday evening, Dutchman Jur Vrieling won the second qualifying class for the MERCEDES GERMAN MASTER. Atop the 10-year old Holstein mare Zypern, he left all the fences standing when stopping the clock at 58.98 seconds.

Crowd favourite and eventing champion Michael Jung from Horb in the Black Forest showed his class against the international jumping specialists to finish second in the saddle on fischerSolution, an eight-year old Westphalian mare (0/59.22). Third place went to Robert Whitaker (GBR) and the Holstein gelding Catwalk. The nephew of the great John Whitaker was only two-hundredth slower than “Gold Jung” (0/59.24). 

Other than Vrieling and Jung, the other ten riders in the line-up for the MERCEDES GERMAN MASTER, the second most important jumping class at the horse show in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle are: Simone Blum, Philipp Weishaupt (both Germany), Henrik von Eckermann (Sweden), Felix Haßmann, Marcel Marschall (both Germany), Eduardo Alvarez Aznar (Spain), Pénélope Leprevost (France), Kevin Staut (France), Nicola Phillipaerts (Belgium) and Marcus Ehning (Germany). The class starts at 10:15 pm local time.
