“I’ve tried to win here so many times and always came close, but today’s finally my day. Brilliant,” commented the winner. “Unique, this cup in Germany, thanks a lot to BW-Bank,” continued “Super-Mario”. Norvin Graf Leutrum von Ertingen, the Chairman of the BW-Bank, stressed, “Watching Baden-Württemberg’s riders here is something quite special.”
Only the top 25 riders at the four qualifying classes at the Ichenheim, Donaueschingen Immenhöfen, Bietigheim-Bissingen and Bisingen horse shows were given the right to compete in the final.
The federal state’s best jumpers have been competing in the BW-Bank Indoor Championship – the unofficial federal championships under a roof – in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle ever since 1986. In the meantime, the long-established event counts as one of the biggest attractions at the STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS whereby the local fans all meet up and enjoy a giant party.
During the day, 2,400 spectators were in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle watching the two jumping classes for the Prize of Bardusch GmbH & Co. KG as well as the final of the iWEST Dressage Cup.
