Serial winner Jana Lang secures the iWEST Dressage Cup

Stuttgart – She was the dominant rider in the iWEST Cup dressage series for riders from the federal state of Baden-Württemberg in 2025: four qualifying classes during the summer, two in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle – six wins. The 22-year-old Jana Lang won four of the five qualifiers in summer (Winterlingen, Donzdorf, Sauerlach, Gut Ising) and she was also in total command on Wednesday, the first day of the 39th International STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS Horse Show, in the warm-up class for the Prize of iWEST.

It was therefore no big surprise that she claimed victory in the final of the iWEST Dressage Cup, an Intermediaire I freestyle on Thursday. Riding her 19-year-old gelding Baron, she performed brilliantly and was awarded77.450 per cent.

“We’re gonna celebrate this evening. It’s an unbelievable feeling,” said the overjoyed winner. “Stuttgart is the highlight of our season. “She praised her horse, saying, “Baron was in such good shape. It’s so much fun riding him. Our ride couldn’t have been any better.”

In second was Moritz Treffinger on Vincero, a ten-year-old Oldenburger (75.250) ahead of Romina Nieberle in the saddle on the 13-year-old Hanoverian gelding Free Willy (74.275).

Holger Schulze, Competition Director of the iWEST Dressage Cup was thrilled by “the incredible strength in depth amongst the competitors” before continuing, “The standard has never been so high.” iWEST CEO Matthias Meyer commented: “It was a super final. Now we’re looking forward to next year and the 25thanniversary.” Qualifying classes will take place in Karlsfeld, Winterlingen, Birkhof, Gut Ising and in Waghäusel-Wiesental.
